Video pavillions:
- In 1989-1990, Groningen invited five architects to design "video pavillions".
These were to be temporary structures in which videos could be viewed by passers-by.
The architects invited were: Bernard Tschumi, Peter Eisenman, Zaha Hadid, Coop Himmelblau,
and Rem Koolhaas. Of these, only the video pavillions by Rem Koolhaas and Bernard Tschumi
exist today. On the location of Coop Himmelblau's video pavillion and Peter Eisenman's, now rises
the Groninger Museum.
